Sarira Sayad

Sarira Sayad is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in visual arts, music, dance, graphic design and entrepreneurship. She is currently based in Montreal, after a trajectory that spanned across several continents. Through her signature dynamic lines, she explores energy flows and transcendence, combining skill, intuition and insight to convey mystical and magical stories about our nature, future and truth.   • Artist featured New Art Project’s online publication, highlighting LADYLOVES from her series Arcs of Anarchy.

  • Arcs of Anarchy is Sarira’s second official series, and her first series on canvas, where she debuts her new technique called “arcs”. It is the evolution of the her style, while maintaining the original DNA of her signature lines. The series will include over 60 original works — with at least half on canvas — throughout the year, released as they are completed.

  • Deconstruction Diaries is based on a series of Sarira’s original sketches, where she breaks the visual vocabulary of her signature lines while maintaining the DNA. It was an experiment of evolution in style and skill, adding to her repertoire and reference for future use in her works.

  • Artist featured in her first print publication. Her profile and series Life Lines was highlighted in a 6-page spread in New Art Project magazine Issue no 4. New Art Project focuses on contemporary abstract art from some of the world’s most promising and exciting emerging and established artists.   • Life Lines was Sarira’s first analogue art series, released in Spring and Summer 2024, during her first year as a full-time artist, after moving to her new studio in Montreal. It garnered the attention of curators across the globe, was featured in several online publications and subsequently published in print that same year.

ARCs of anarchy , 2025

Arcs of Anarchy features a new multi-line technique developed by Sarira that she calls “arcs”. An “arc” also refers to the trajectory and development of a life story. Sarira integrates this multitude in a dramatic and whimsical series about the tension between chaos and clarity, limits and liberty, madness and mastery. It is her first catalogue of paintings predominantly on canvas, featuring some of her largest works to date. She expects to complete 30 paintings on canvas in this series within the year.

LIFE LINES , 2024

Life Lines consists of 30 philosophical storyboards about the paths we take and the choices we make. It explores identity and transformation as we evolve and adapt to new realities. Energy lines flow within us, between us and mother nature, intertwining our fates, elevating our consciousness and creating new pathways for growth. LEAP OF FAITH , 2023

Leap Of Faith is a an invitation to dive into the unknown and follow your own path. It is symbolic of the year Sarira pivoted her life to pursue art full-time. As her first piece on canvas, she explored mixed mediums and techniques. While in transition, she created several other works including The Jump (bottom right). She spent the rest of 2023 experimenting as much as possible in order to hone in on her signature style the following year.

VINTAGE MOVEMENT , 2022

The Vintage Movement series is a set of digital collage art and animations exploring the stages of consciousness, alignment, energy patterns and transcendence as we move and improve. It includes 22 works under four subsets: Marilyn in Movement, Unitard Disco, Cosmic Yoga and Peekaboo Legs — some of which are featured below. Full catalog available on request.
