SARIRA SAYAD

Sarira Sayad (nick named Szen Sari) is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and entrepreneur, born on the Caspian Coast, currently based in Montreal and often found in New York City. Practicing arts and music since childhood, she later pursued dance, technical and graphic design before attending McGill university, founding Canada’s first online resale marketplace and returning to her core passion of art after her entrepreneurship journey.

In 2024, she developed the foundations of her signature style in her first analog series Life Lines, applying dynamic strokes, merging illustration and painting to create minimalist fluid forms that tackle complex psychological, societal and philosophical issues.

She is fascinated by energy, movement, transformation and transcendence. True to her character, her work combines elegant intuitive flow and deep insight to convey a mystical and magical story exploring our nature, future and truth.
